Title: Finnish to Redneck Translation? Post by: louisb on September 09, 2009, 05:15:20 am Anyone here able to translate the second page, labeled 3-1, from the following document?
http://fvwa.sitefactory.fi/data/10.pdf It's a manual translated from German to Finnish on how to replace the frame head on a type 1. Google translate fails miserably. I think what it is indicating in the left side middle diagram is that the beam should be angled forwards 2 degrees. Does Etuakspeliputki mean the beam's cross member where the torsion leaves reside? I think I have most of the rest of it figured out. Thanks, --louis Title: Re: Finnish to Redneck Translation? Post by: stealth67vw on September 09, 2009, 05:37:19 am You use a piece of pasteboard to mark that sumbitch, weld that sumbitch yunder, drink a half case of Natural Light for 7 consecutive days then Finnish welding that sumbitch up when your sober.
Is that redneck enough for you? ;D Title: Re: Finnish to Redneck Translation? Post by: Rick Meredith on September 09, 2009, 07:33:00 am You forgot "Y'all watch this" ;D

Thanks, --louis "etuakseliputki" in this context is infact one of the torsion tubes (don't know if that's proper English). (forum you got it from is our "redneck" forum :D) Title: Re: Finnish to Redneck Translation? Post by: SlingShot on September 09, 2009, 19:09:28 pm If we're translating to redneck, forget the welding.
