Title: engine case for sale , ex Bernard Newburys blue oval Post by: jick on January 25, 2007, 20:46:05 pm i bought this case about 10 years ago when Bernard revamped his show-winning blue oval that was featured in volksworld, he had way less than 1000 miles on it.
i've had it stored unused since then. it was modified at Pauter machine USA, welded & strengthened at #3, cut for 94b&p, clearanced for an 86mm crank, it has had an extra piece welded on & tapped for -10 where the external oil filter line returns to the case where it can sometimes weaken. it has been cut for a sand seal and comes with a gene berg achiever pulley to suit. £300. check the "thumper" feature of the car in the Volksworld 10th anniversary issue 1996 for more details. i will endeavor to find out more info from Bernard if anyone is seriously interested. cheers....jick Title: Re: engine case for sale , ex Bernard Newburys blue oval Post by: Jøran Larssen on January 27, 2007, 16:40:32 pm You got mail.
