Title: trumpet style tailpipe for DQP's question. Post by: wolfswest on October 03, 2009, 18:51:53 pm Hi guys,
Played around this afternoon with Jelle and we installed his dual quiet pack on my car instead of the A1 style muffler. I love it, but one thing could be better. It's a bugpack model, but unfortunately the bugpack models don't have "trumpet" style tailpipes... What would the cheapest way be to put trumpets on them? It's just a matter of forcing a cone down the end of the pipe, I found a piece of stainless tube and did it in my press and then welded it on the muffler. Post by: margaret on April 29, 2011, 05:20:24 am apology for making this thread up. but i need help for my tail pipe. i dont know if this is the right place to post this one but im hoping. one of the tail pipe (http://www.racepages.com/parts/tail_pipe.html) on my stock exhaust has dropped down. I have pushed it back up and secured it with some wire as a temp fix. It looks like the weld on the bracket has broken.Is a replacement exhaust box needed or can the bracket be welded back on? thanks in advance!
