Post by: Udo on October 04, 2009, 19:23:32 pm
Next weekend , last chance to do some tune up and racing . Most drivers do new best et's because of the weather and good air in october . They plan to do some headsup racing on sunday also..
Hope to see some of you there

We had a nice weekend with some rain and cold weather , but all could do some runs . There are most the same that come to race at bitburg . I want to say thanks too ALL for coming , special to Wally and his girlfriend , Lady Marmelade team that have the longest way , pat and vanessa , .....
We had a new record from Thomas Kemp who did a 10,21  :o after we made some changes on the carburators . I could do some good runs with new engine too , but needs some tuneup...

 :o Damn, and I wasn't there... :(

Congrats to all who achieved new PB's!

I'm especially happy for Udo Widmann, I lent him my Hurst shifter, seems it worked O.K.

Saludos,
Ole

10,21 in a 1303 with a n/a type 4 engine is just crazy  :) :)

Udo do you know the weight of the car ?
And maybe the hp well over 300 or ?

Last time i spoke to Peter from CSP he mentioned something like "610kg" car only, but maybe Udo can confirm this.

Congrats to Thomas Kemph and team for his 10.21  PB !  ;)

Regards Steve

The weight is in the 650 kg range , more lightweight than mine  >:(. HP not over 300 , we have to do a dyno run for this here in Germany ...
