Title: late 1200 project Post by: beetletom on October 08, 2009, 14:55:55 pm got a jeans beetle shell today, just need a floorpan.
going to do it with my uncle, the plan is, weld up the side trim holes, keep the black 1/4 lights, colourcode all the light surrounds, door handles and paint it a porsche colour. luckily it doesnt need any welding whatsoever!! well, a few tiny bits, but nothing major! its got 1200 bumper mounts inside the spare wheel well, so will probably change the valence. will get pics asap! I've had the back end of his car, and he's still got the pan. Might need a couple of simple repairs, but generally in pretty good shape.
