Title: AACA Fall Meet Hershey
Post by: javabug on October 12, 2009, 03:11:43 am
Not much more fun to be had than walking around the world's largest antique auto swap and flea market for two days.  No buys for me, other than some greasy food.  Lots of mega-(over)priced stuff.

There's more.

5-window body:  $25,000
3-window roller:  if you have to ask...
Willys project (baja fenders?):  $30,000

Ah man this looks like an awesome event - is it purely a swap meet? or a car show as well?

I bet I could find myself some Gates commandos (tires) there for sure!

Hey Lee, it is truly a great time.  NO shortage of stuff to ogle...300 acres of swap meet spaces.

It is primarily a swap meet including car corral from Wednesday to Friday, and then they have a very nice antique car show on Saturday.  I think 1350 cars registered this year.

Come on out sometime Danny.  It is a 20-minute walk from my back door to the swap.

Those are some cool pics. Thanks for posting. I especially like that little model b shell pickup and the speedster project of course. 25 large for a 5-window body, thats ridiculous. I guess hot rods are no longer for the common man, unless you know were to find them yourself.

I didn't think that was too bad for a 75yr old shell  ;) I mean where else you gonna find a 5 window shell in that kinda condition again  :-\
