Does anyone know what this steering wheel is from?

Late-model (1970s) basic 1200 Beetle – and others, I'm sure...

you could ask my brother.
he's got one, don't know if he intends to sell it or keep it as a spare. his username is CHR!S.
you've done business before  ;)

Cool thanks. I will do that once I get a little cash together.

Maybe I can trade him something for it.  ;)

I used to have one, but used the horn button as the blanking plate in the front valance of my '68...  :D They're not particularly comfortable to use, in my opinion. You should be able to find one on ebay, try .co.uk, or .de perhaps?

I was planning to use a stock wheel anyway, but the standard w/o the horn ring looks much cleaner. (And less to break.) If they used them in Canada, maybe I can find one a little closer to home.

Thanks,
