I have never liked those wheels, they are just like the wheels found on 70's British cars.  I find it funny when they are referred to as South African Sprint stars to try and make them sound glamorous.

I have now a question on South african wheels.
Does anyone knows what rim Offset i Need for a 5 1/2 x 15" rim?
What Looks good in the rear? My Plans are 4 1/2 in Front and 5 1/2 in the back.
Car is a 59 Bug. Hope you could help

I think they were only made in 4.5" widths. Anything else will need re rimming.

Would any body be interested in a bulk load of centres for these, by that I mean the whole wheel centre...You can make what ever width you want then... PLUS easy shipping.

I have 4  4 1/2" rims. I will weld 2 of them in 5 1/2". Thatīs my plan.
I have thought someone of you have welded the rims in 5 1/2" and have a idea for the rim offset!

Ah I see. IRS or swing? Short or long axles? What size tires you plan on running?
