Title: How to ship an engine from the USA to Germany ? Idea ?

Has anyone a good idea how to ship an engine from the USA to Europe..Germany ? Has someone made something like that ? Cheapest way i found was about 1000$  ???

find someone who id shipping goods or cars or parts in container regularly and share the costs with him.

1000$??? for that money You can ship a propper dodge Ram to Poland from USA.

check for companies that ships pallets in containers.
You can try using Pol-Amer company. They ship big stuff to poland form USA.
of corse shiping by sea is much cheepr than air fraight and it takes about 4-6 weeks

Getting a complete running turbo engine(as a starting point to begin with) over from the usa to me... Cheaper and easier for me , because ther are not so many , better said no one , how is into turbo engines over herr in germany...
I am open for any other ideas ;-)
