First tech story on dual quiet-packs was in the April 1979 issue of Hot VWs (page 38...).

BUT first appearance was on my former ex-Keith Goss chop-top way back in 1976... engine produced 20hp more than with a single quiet-pack.  :)

Oh, and let's not forget the sound. NOTHING sounds as good as dual quiet-packs. ;D

you're right keith   ;D for me too the dual quiet packs  is the better sound   8) i 'd like to found the same for my car  ;)

I agree, the sound is quite unique, and they look just right! Pity it seems nearly impossible to find them in decent sizes

FAT Performance did the prototyping on Keith Goss's car.
