Title: Re: When were dual quiet packs introduced? Post by: Fastbrit on January 31, 2007, 17:07:58 pm First tech story on dual quiet-packs was in the April 1979 issue of Hot VWs (page 38...).
BUT first appearance was on my former ex-Keith Goss chop-top way back in 1976... engine produced 20hp more than with a single quiet-pack. :) Oh, and let's not forget the sound. NOTHING sounds as good as dual quiet-packs. ;D Title: Re: When were dual quiet packs introduced? Post by: speedwell on January 31, 2007, 17:16:02 pm NOTHING sounds as good as dual quiet-packs.

Post by: alex d on January 31, 2007, 17:17:45 pm I agree, the sound is quite unique, and they look just right! Pity it seems nearly impossible to find them in decent sizes
