Title: NVRA Sheet Post by: deano on November 26, 2009, 22:12:50 pm While going through boxes of old papers from Ken and Dean Lowry, I found this sheet. Notice the date... I am so glad that Paul Schley and I are able to go through these boxes, scan everything, before it goes back to the family. There is so much here. Wow.

Title: Re: NVRA Sheet Post by: deano on November 28, 2009, 03:26:32 am Something just dawned on me. When I was talking with Ken Lowry, he said that when Dean crashed their (first) car at Sears Point, in March of 1970, that a VW club came over and helped them tear the old car apart, and get the second car ready to race. For weeks, I have been trying to figure out which VW club that could have been. But now, seeing all the NVRA stickers and stuff in his collection, it would now seem that they, the NVRA guys, were the ones who helped them work on the old DDS racecar. I guess Fleming, Anderson and others in that photo might recall that time.
