Title: Shocks for the rear of my 32 Hot Rod Lincoln !! Post by: Frenchy Dehoux on November 27, 2009, 03:44:49 am I need to locate a pair of rear shocks for my 32 the ones that I have now bottom out and oil is leaking out of them. I bought them at Napa store and the part # is 555002 I need some that measure less than 8 3/4 from center to center of the holes so that I have some type of travel. A pair that would measure 6 3/4 center to center depressed would be good that will give me 2 inches of travel. Thanks Frenchy Title: Re: Shocks for the rear of my 32 Hot Rod Lincoln !! The shortest shocks I have sold fit a 54 Bus and we carry them here in the Fresno DC. Or you might want to just try some streetrod shocks. They are usually pretty short.

Let me know if this is what the busses are using. I will check with Napa tomorrow some of my buddies are telling me to use 1963 to 67 Corvette. Thanks for all your help with this. I was going to tell you the NAPA/Monroe number would be 5752. Those are for 53-54 Bus/ 51-52 Beetle and 46-50 Desoto/Plymouth/Chrysler. They are 8.625 compressed. But I think you would be better of with what you got.
