 hello you all. Here is my new project.
It is a 56 Oval that had a hard life :). Hopefully it will be ready for paint in january, Candy aple red.
The engine is i 2276cc. Here is some pic`s

Picked up the cage today and started mounting it. It nice to be done with all the welding on the car to, so now i`m ready to start painting, so within two weeks it should have some color at least some parts :)

Thank you. It`s done over a silver base. It`s not going to be all red, Lettering yes and some graphics to. I also going to use these wheels. :)

I was :D. At first i planed to build it like the one i wrecked, but you know how it is when you start building ;). So that it the reason for the red headliner but i like it :)

I love those wheels, because they are a little bit different than the standard one's with their matt black and silver color.
Like your car and the color.  :)

Did some more painting. Just one more thing left to paint on the body before i can paint the fenders, decklid and bonnet. Can`t wait to put the engine in and try it :)

The cage, carpet, one chair is in. The snow is melting so i have the put my a... in gear so a can get the car done and try it. Have to do some adjustment to the engine jetting and some other adjustments to.

Today my new M&H tires came :). Thanks to Ben for helping me pick them up :). All the wires are done so IT`S Alive and making noise. It is nice to hear the engine again, sounds good to ;D

I like it! Like Wout, I'm not hugely keen on the running boards, but what would look really cool would be some delete plates, like on Tar Babe?

I will check out tar babe, and i agree about the running boards, i sat down in the garage today and they don't lock right so they are up for sale :).

Had the chrome sidesteps before on my 68 and they had to say severall times that it wasn't the right thing for my car  ::) so...

Back from SCC and i had a good time there, a realy good show. It was realy funny to race to. Did just under 14sec :), broke the gearbox on synday but what can you expect from a 1200 gearbox from 63 ::). So this winter a new gearbox needs to get buildt :) and thank you Ben for helping out :)

the axle break was due ;D i'm glad you got 3 full passes out of it, it's a sweet looking car tommy ;D
