The Compomotive factory is about 3/4 of a mile from my unit. If you can't find any second hand, decide to buy new and need a set picking up from the factory, let me know and I can bring them to Volksworld show?

Interesting. I would be suprised if they still can make them. Could you perhaps ask them? I`m sure we can sum up a few persons that wants a set. I`m in for sure, Trond + 10 or so sets for Ebay. Seriously, if you could pop by and ask it would be interesting to know what they want and if they still have the forms.

I'll swing by on Saturday morning! If they can't do it, there is always Image wheels, who are also fairly local to me, who do all sorts of custom three piece wheels for road and track use. Their website is having a few issues at the moment, but I think there is a Fuchs style wheel on there.

Went over on Saturday and they were shut, so I'm going straight after school tonight - I should get there before they close! I always prefer talking to someone face to face, especially when I've got a picture to show them! :D Hopefully more news tomorrow.

Right, spoken to Compomotive, and they said that they don't make them any more but there has been quite a bit of interest in some of their old wheels recently!

They can tool up to make a batch, but prices would be subject to them doing a bit of investigation. They would need to refurbish their dies to cast the centres again, and speak to their rim suppliers about getting the rims made up in the correct offsets (they used to spin their own rims but now get them bought in from another company), so it is feasable. Bad news is that they would need an order of around 60 wheels and to order, you'd need to go through their Norwegian dealer. :-\

I think it'll be better to keep looking on ebay. :( If you need a UK shipping address though, just let me know.

Neil

They were probably sold, then relisted..... Seems theese guys are scamming. Not sure thought but please be aware!
My bids were run up to max and over, and suddenly 9 of the bids where gone and I was suddenly the winner. Sketchy!
Also suddenly he wants payment through direct money transfer.. yeah.. thats going to happen...

shill bidding and relisting sold items.. stay away people!

i just asked, and they are located in Leicester, in the midlands of the uk, probably about 100 miles or so north of london/ 120 miles north east of me. looks like collection is fine, so presumably anyone could pay cash if they pick them up. They do look pretty cool, are they from the 1990s or something?
