Title: Looking for some 12v generator info Post by: Chuck Fryer on December 15, 2009, 22:16:45 pm Several years, ok maybe a decade ago, I bought a 12v Porsche generator. It is the same dia. a 6v unit but puts out 12v and worked well in a 40hp engine compartment to hide the 12v upgrade. Now, I want to use this same gen in my ragtop car going together but the end of the armature that the fan goes on is damaged. What thread size is this, anyone know? Also, I have lost the voltage regulator, any idea what part # I should replace it with? Just thought it would look cool, small gen and a 010 dist combo. Might even use a stock fuel pump ;)
