In the prvious years they had, rmember this meeting is organised by a buggy club. I once went on the track, it was all the way off of the main event and had you driving through the woods. Seemed like a lot of fun, but the first corner had me turning back in my standard 61 beetle.

Nice one Alex, I get £134 towing the bug (8mpg is NOT good!!! I really should step up to EFI). A bunch (hopefully have around 10 of us racing over there) of the Rennwagens are making the trip out and will probably be the maiden voyage for my new car.... Maybe we could meet up at the Ferry and all cruise out there together? Although a few of us are hoping to stick around over there for a couple of weeks maybe.... if I can find somewhere secure to park the bug. Are there any other shows on over the following couple of weeks? Would be cool to take in another show, or maybe even race again while we're out there.

Whats the deal with tickets etc. when are they normally available to buy?

I'm a total Euro show virgin, so can't wait for this!

Euro shows are the best, once you've done one you'll be hooked,

I don't know of any in the following weeks, Dez has done a vw show calender on google maps, and there a few on there,

I am visiting a mate in Belgium thursday night before Spa so will probably have to meet you there on the friday! I can put you in touch with him, he may be able to help you find somewhere to store the bug.

I have no idea about show tickets, someone else might?

As I said guys it looks like I'll be joining the convoy - also Kaferboy it might be worth looking into buying TWO seperate car/van tickets and then gewtting a friend to drive the bug on and off the ferry  ;) Just a thought as this is what Rob did with his manx for EBI2 - his girlfriend drove the manx onto the ferry still with the Aframe attached  :D

Good to see you (and Speedwell, DAS guys, Jakob, Gunter, Mad Frog..) again, wish there would have been more time to shoot bull.

Drove from Hamburg to Stockholm yesterday and before crashing to sleep (not while driving) loaded only pictures from the first memory card  ;)

Nice to meet you in person Tero and thanks for the pics.

Hi folks,

It was an awesome weekend, I've met a lot of nice people from all over the world! It was just great!
My personal race experiance @ Spa was nice and did 3 great passes... the first with full boost on the line and missing 2nd gear: 8.4, then the next pass with full boost and good shifting: 7.4 and last but not least final I did 6.2sec on the 1/8 mile up hill racing with 1 bar boost @ the start! That's a new record!!! BUT because I started with 0.000 reaction time instead of 0.001 I was disqualified for that run! BUT asked the officials about that time and that timeslip is REAL!!!! ;)
The next day I would like to set that record but due to a broken rocker I had to go home with just a top 20 price... ;D

It was again a very nice weekend and a place to meet people from all over europe . We had good results on the up hill track and on the circuit track . By the way , the 1/8 mile times are a little curious , reaction time , red light and et's  ???

i went only the saturday  and as madfrog said , my car was outside in the visitors parking

price are crazy at spa  for only one day with your car it was 35 € for your car + 12.50€ for you  ::) not for me , i paid less than this for the week end at EBI

here's a long time project , the owner is a friend of mine , a lot of NOS parts on that razor , and the wheels  are very different for what we see normally on a razor , they looks great on that car with that color

Did a few passes on the uphill track, 9 in 25 minutes to be precise :D 8,75 is the best ET but I don't really know how that compares to 13,5 on 400m I did last year..
