I remember this from the early days of the famous Chelsea Cruise in London. Car dates back to around 1972 and was owned by Ken Sweeney...

I remember looking at this car for ken with aveiw to doing the welding for resto,when I see it it still had the multi color paint scheme on it
must of been about ten years ago i know it fully restored factory spec now .

same here i remember a pict in vowo

and may be a stupid question ::) , how the owner knew  inch pincher too paint scheme ??? so dune buggies/hot vws were published in uk at that time ???

No need for a copy of the mag, he could just look it up on the internet  :P :P :P

You could buy the occasional copy at specialist car shops, but you could get a subscription. Also, don't forget there were other magazines – we could buy Hot Rod and Car Craft magazines very easily in the UK at that time.
