Title: injector bungs
Post by: Lurv on February 03, 2010, 10:43:25 am
I'm thinking of changing the placement of my injectors from CB's Thottlebodies to closer to the inlet valve. Can I just weld on material to the manifolds and drill them or should I buy injector bungs and weld them to the manifold?

like these ones:

On my manifolds we made them ourselves[steel manifolds though] but now I would just buy some injector bungs and weld them on

its a 14mm hole, just put a lead into it so the o-ring can follow without getting torn. reaming the hole is best.
