am i suppoed to be able to use the flasherlights when the lights are not on? i thougt so like on a newer car. but mine dont work. i can use the flasher fine when the lights are on but not when they are out. the relais clicks but nothing happens. checked diagrams but everything looks fine. maybe i am missing something... sorry about the topic i know it isn't really a cal-look topic, but i have been working on it for the better part of the weekend insted of getting work done on the rest of the car. thanks Title: Re: electrical question Post by: Diederick/DVK on February 12, 2007, 02:20:00 am same here, but my relay doesn't click at all when the lights are off.
what year is your ride? Title: Re: electrical question Post by: nicolas on February 12, 2007, 06:53:27 am its a 67 squareback. what i understand of it is that it needs electricity from two sources and it only has one when the lights are off. so maybe that is why you can't flash at pedestrians when they try to cross the street and you come full trotle driving over their shoes. ;D ;D ;D

i got all the right parts and relais so i guess that should work, but i am not that sure about it all. thanks for the help allready nicolas |
