prices aren't what they used to be, your best is ebay with a reserve.  but i doubt it will get that high. 

also, I dont think amp gauges are as desirable (expensive) as the equivalent oil pressure or temp gauge, that does look a nice condition piece though.

I've contacted you in the end of February to buy your Empi gauge. In March I send you a bank account transfer of $150 ($125 + $25 for the shipping).

I send you several messages during May as I didn't have any news from you since this last message, I never got a reply. Until June 13, 2010 when you sent me this :


I replied to you that I'm not in Cali for the Classic, I gave you my address again, and ask you for a tracking number of the package when you send it.


This was the last message I had from you. I sent you several messages here on The Lounge during June, July, August and September and I never got any news, any infos. October 18, 2010 I even contacted you on Facebook, nothing again.

It's been now more than 4 months without news from you, I'm not here to mess with people or make troubles, I just want to make things move because I'm pretty pissed about it now : you have the money, you have my address...

we shouldn't get scammed on our own lounge! if anyone who's acquainted with Anthony Chicca or Heads Up Performance would enquire on Nico's behalf, i'm sure that would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, I do not involve Heads Up Performance company in this case. The deal was made with Anthony in his own name. I don't know anything about Heads Up Performance and I never had any transactions with them.

I posted this thread up over on UltimateAircooled.com, as I believe Anthony is a regular over there.  Hope this helps you guys get things worked out, I know I'd be frustrated as hell after months of paying for something and seeing nothing.

Anthony, this time I will not have the patience to send you messages during another 6 months...

Bummer... I commend you for patience thus far after so many months of waiting, but if it were me, I'd likely be demanding a refund at this stage in the game.  I probably would have lost my patience after a month or month and a half... ::)

Well I guess my patience is related to the fact that there are 9000km between me and him. I wonder if he's doing the same things with people living in his area... And like I can't contact the guy for the part I can't contact him for a refund.

I'm happy to have been an involuntary sponsor for his win in the Super Stock class at the Hot VWs Drag Day  >:( I hope there was a little sticker with my name somewhere on the car.

That effing sucks... after that many months you'd think the guy would have a serious fire burning under his ass to do the right thing.

The guy works for a pretty reputable shop, as well, not that his employer has anything to do with this issue.  I'm definitely going to avoid doing business with this character given how long he's strung out this seller months at a time.  That's complete horsesh*t.

I have to say big big big thanks to Ryan (bugnut68) and T-Fabs for their help ! And also to Brian Watts on Ultimate Aircooled. Without them it would never have come to an end.

This has been an education for a lot of people in how NOT to conduct business, I think.  I'm glad everything worked out for you and you got the part that you paid for!   :)
