I'm looking for a pair of genuine SB12 headlight rims in very good condition, no dents, no dings, no rust.

No need to Worry about Rust they are made out of Brass then Chrome Plated  since they are Brass they are easy to fix small dents and Dings the Best ones to Look For are the ones with the Hella SB12 stamped Deep in to the Ring that way when being Rechromed you dont loose the Emblem or SB12  most of the SB12 I have seen are Cracked at the Screw hole which is also fixable since they are Brass

Thanks for that, one more question: were the lights specific with a curved glass? Such as the Berg black 67?

SB12 's Came on 65/67 Type 3's and Early 67 bettles made from Aug 66 to March 67 in Mid March the Factory changed over to the Plane Chrome steel version Also Changes were made in mid March to Rubber Radio Knobs,high Side mount seat latches,seat belt center bracket,Outside Mirror Early had a Round Mirror, late was the Pear Shape Mirror, Sun Visor Clips, and right rear 1/4 panel also there were 3 types of 9 Pin Flasher Relay Boxes Aluminum Case was Early , And Black or Blue Plastic Case Relays were late.
