had that question in my mind for long. What would you prefer? A loose lash cap or a tight lash cap? The idea behind a tight cap is the the valves could turn and not just the cap. I think it`s a question of does the valve turn in the head with a loose cap? Pulling the tight caps is a real drama withou a fitting puller.Anyone got a pic of the Gene berg puller? I want to set the valvekeepers tight at the valve (little gap)... Maybe you have some experiences or better suggestions for me? I will make me a puller like the GB puller and go with the tight one`s. Everybody is setting their valve Keppers tight to the valve (grinded) or with play that the valve could turn as they come out of the packing? Greetz! Keepers not touching each other,tight to the valve :) and personally I dont see any difference on the lash caps,as Steve D wrote,if they come off then something else is wrong cheers richie,uk |
