First show of the season, catch up with friends I've not seen in a while and (lots of) beer in The Bear, what could be better  ;D

I'll be there. The Ghia should be finished and on show inside.

i´ll be there both days. Always wanted to attend this event and finally got the chans to come over. but no car  :) the beryl bomber is berried under 1meter deep snow.

One of my favs as I only live 5 minutes away, although this year a little less beer on saturday night so sunday isnt such a blur   ;D

I'll be getting there early on Friday morning, and leaving way after the last show car owner has left on Sunday. We've got some serious cars coming; and this year will see more overseas cars than ever. We've got two cars from Italy, at least six from Belgium, three from France, 12 from Germany - including a VERY special coachbuilt that has never been seem in the UK before, cars from Sweden, Finland, Norway, Austria, Switzerland, The Netherlands and a seriously cool new car from Ireland.
Add to this the most new 'debuts' we've had to date and it's sure to be a top show. We've even had to put cars which would and have taken Best of Show at events in 2009 on the reserve list to make sure that when you walk in to the show you get the kind of impact you expect from the VolksWorld Show.
Hand on heart, I think it will be a weekend to remember and, a great start to the new decade.
We have gone all out to better the previous events and, the whole team has been doing whatever it takes to make certain you have a top weekend.
Personally, I can't wait until the Friday of the show - bring it on!

Just walked in home from getting back from Sandown - things are looking good - the trade stand booths are up and loads of the build is complete. Looks a bit empty with no cars in their though  ;D

Truly one of the best shows I have been fortunate to attend. Best of luck this year for our side of the pond! :)

Fantastic show as usual, well done to Ivan and crew. The quality of the cars this year was mind-blowing, from the stock stuff to the race stuff. A few stand out cars for me personally, firstly the Sepia 67 (just awesome), the Black Oval downstairs (in fact the whole line up of cars in that hall with the DAS guys was great) and Matt's Oval race-car - that car is something else - it's a work a art! Loved the 914 as well (what a cool colour!)

Cheers - the whole team did a superb job. We've already got plans to make next year even better.

Great week-end as usual! Glad to talk to everybody and congrats to the ones who got one of these cool trophies!

Saying that they're same car is probably worst thing you could say about Martin's car after all the effort and thought that has been put into it  ;)
