Title: Inner tubes ?

Im gonna be fitting some M&H dots soon, and my question is will i need inner tubes ? i ve heard slicks lose air through the side walls is this gonna happen on dots ?

I dont have tubes in my M&H dots on real gasburners,they seem to hold air fine,maybe get a little top up every few months but never have gone flat

I didn't use inner tubes on my 6"-26x15 M&H racemasters either and they kept their air in fine. Just now and then a refill between meets.
But tubeless rims are essential.
