Wow, really did appear to be a blast that is until I read their 2010 Rulebook http://www.mojavemile.com/MKM_Rulebook_MMS_2010_2.0.7.pdf pertaining to spectating the event:

"A word about spectators, children, and pets. At this time, we are not well-equipped for spectators. There is no provision made for a spectator area and there is no good place to just watch the cars and bikes race. While it will be possible to view the start line and the first half of the runs from the Paddock area, and while there will be a speed display board set up so you can see what speed everyone is running, the geography of the airfield makes it difficult to have an actual "viewing" or "spectator" area. So, we request that you please keep the number of people coming with you to a minimum."

Bummer, as I am just a spectator, not a participant (unfortunately for me).

Oh well, there is always SCTA's El Mirage events http://www.scta-bni.org/events.html (http://www.scta-bni.org/events.html). Or the Silver State Classic Challenge http://www.sscc.us/ (http://www.sscc.us/).

Have fun. Be Safe.
