Title: What Shox?!! Post by: Buttons on February 19, 2007, 20:20:26 pm The time has come to install suspension on my '56 but im really not sure whats gonna be best..... ??? ???
car will be running an IDA'd 2276cc with Rancho Pro Street box so it should be a bit of a ripper. Ive read a few horror stories about people having problems under braking and on lift off of throttle due to sloppy suspension so i'd really appreciate any advice! ;) Title: Re: What Shox?!! Some use straps. It isnt a huge amout of work and stops the "end of the run" wiggle that comes from taking your foot off the gas. I am having mine done

Haven't had a lot of feedback on this topic but from what i can gather, Koni's (and i'm assuming coilovers!) are a good choice. I am also going wit Avos based on recommendation. ;D Nope , we are welding up the rebound stops , using a 19mm NUT , to gauge the correct amount of height required added to the lug that the spring-plate rests on , with the suspension unloaded .
