Title: Long to Short axle Install

I'm Getting ready to install short axles on my 67 ...what bearing cap do I use and what does it look look like ....? I have a few different ones but not sure which one to use...? ....Does any one have a pic of the one I need ...?..... ???

Since no one is replying yet: I had to switch to '66 bearing caps when changing from long to short axles on my '68 Beetle.  However, I was using '68 backing plates...so it might depend on whether your '67 long axle had 5-bolt '67 backing plates or 4-bolt '67 backing plates (depending on country of origin)...

Thanks Neil......Yeah I have 5 lug but will be using type 3 brakes...I just need to know what which bearing cap I need cuz I'm not sure what they look like ?..that's what I need to know...and just what is the difference is on 66 and 67-68's
