Title: Long to Short axle Install Post by: Kaferdog on March 27, 2010, 01:52:36 am I'm Getting ready to install short axles on my 67 ...what bearing cap do I use and what does it look look like ....? I have a few different ones but not sure which one to use...? ....Does any one have a pic of the one I need ...?..... ???

However, I was using '68 backing plates...so it might depend on whether your '67 long axle had 5-bolt '67 backing plates or 4-bolt '67 backing plates (depending on country of origin)...
