Title: Re-honing of AA-cylinders?...Now with pictures Post by: PH1303 on April 06, 2010, 20:40:40 pm AA-cylinders are becoming more and more used for hot VW engines, and the quality is hopefully good? I have purchased a set of thick wall 92 mm type 1 cylinders, but I think the honing is too "thin"compared to Cima/Mahle cylinders.

Who use them and how they work? any problems like quick wear, too soft pistons etc...?
