You bet!

All our airports are closed, all the rental cars are rented out, all the hotels are fully booked, all the trains are fully booked. the air has a strange smell and it is all over the news.

I heard all the news accounts, I was just curious if the scenery looks like armageddon? I remember when Mt St Helens erupted years ago, it looked dreary for months.

God forbid that ash falls on your cars....thirty years ago Mt. St. Helens ruined thousands of engines (with or without filters).  :( :(

And throw away my air fare, and watch from afar as my car is in SoCal, while I'm not... Sounds like a plan. :(

Trond, how are things where you are? Are you getting dumped on, or is the wind taking it in another direction?

We've got about 10 members of staff who've not made it back to school after the Easter holidays, and a fair few kids missing too. My Mum is supposed to be going to France for a week with her sisters, then back to the UK to get a plane to Tenerife with my Dad. At the moment she's thinking about not going to France so she can get to Tenerife.

Not much here.. its all higher up causing issues for planes...
I have had some people insist they have seen it laying on their cars, but I think perhaps they just need to wash them :-)

Wait til you open your engine and look at your cylinders  :)
