What are the experiences on 92 mm cilinderkits? Making thougts to upgrade my 2017cc engine with a 92mm cilinderkit (2074cc). Are they to thin and is it true that they don't seal well in the head area? kind regards, Dennis.. I bought a set and have not installed them yet. I believe CB Performance may carry them.

You can then have the case faced so the seating areas are all trued up and have a wider base to support the barrels. I have done this for all my VW life and it works the best. There are guys who machine the bottom of the barrels but in my opinion it is a compromise to the cylinder integrity.
