Title: How many of you good people leave your vw outside all year round?? Post by: jayster on May 09, 2010, 18:15:43 pm I am just wondering as i would like to get a cheap run around as have got a nice sunday bug already.but this would mean keeping it outside as my good bug takes up all the room in the garage and i got the vento as well.just wondering the effects of leaving it outside all year apart from the rust issue of course :D

Post by: glenn on August 26, 2013, 14:15:24 pm I live near the water so salt corrosion is a major problem. So after 25 years of being outside it needed a lot of rot repair. Now that it's been redone it rests inside where it's been protected and still looks great after 14 years.
