quick question, the price is 7500,00Euros for the complete engine? Friendly Dimitrios Title: Re: 2733 cc TIV with EP heads Post by: Frallan on May 15, 2010, 04:07:14 am Yes it is the compelete engiine.
I can deduct the fuel injection as a complete unit for € 1500 reduction of the price. Fredrik Title: Re: 2733 cc TIV with EP heads Post by: JIMP on May 15, 2010, 09:32:04 am O.K. so do you have any idea of its power and torque or maybe some diagram? And how much use since it was built?

Of course not forgetting the two oil pickups and and the drysump pump. Another picture and some more inormation. The engine can be sold with Weber 51.3 mm instead of the CB Quick tune injection. I have EP Manifolds for Jaycee 61 mm carburators but I can easily modify them for the 51.3. One more detailed information is the flywheel bolts. They are of the kind with oversized shoulder in to the flywheel. Meaning that the flywheel had to be reamed and fit for the size. This is what the engine looks like with Webers 51.3. Jake Raby TIV Store cam grind #89 Part number 9710 Valve lift with stock rockers is .582" which is 14.78 mm Duration 328 at .050" 282 Lobe center 108 The JE pistons Compression height is 1.180" which is 30 mm Top and second ring .048" 1.22 mm Oil ring is .111 2.82 mm Spiro locks Piston weight 423 gms Side clearance with Nicasil is set to .05 mm The Okrasa crank is from eighties but has not seen any abuse. In 2008 it was magnafluxed by an aircraft renovation shop in southern Sweden. The word was "virgin", like new. 2007 I changed from torque readings on assembly of the Carillos to stretch method. All eight Carr bolts were replaced with new ones at cost of almost USD 400. Old ones probably OK but no chance taken. No I have not done a leakdown yet but hope to have it done by mid this week. As quoted to one of you, the engine without DTM, Distributor and no CB injection box or throttlebodies, will cost €5500 Not that I think it is needed, a complete spare JE ring set is enclosed. Title: Re: 2733 cc TIV with EP heads Post by: Torben Alstrup on May 30, 2010, 12:09:00 pm It´s dead cheap.
If I had that kind of free money, I would buy it instantly and install it in my street car. That kind of´reliable power dont come cheaper. Good luck with the sale Fredric. T Title: Re: 2733 cc TIV with EP heads Post by: Frallan on May 30, 2010, 19:03:44 pm Dear Torben,
I know it is cheap but at the same time I normally price to sell if it is second hand. I have a buyer in Norway and he wants to buy the engine as is with CB FI. I am reserving the engine for him until last week of June. If he backs out, I have a french guy whos eems commited to buy the engine but without CB and DTM. Price is agreed. A third person in Denmark has offered me a slightly lower price but this is no go as I am in no hurry to sell. I have "one engine too much" (Stupid statement. Like saying too much horsepower but maybe I am little bit stupid right now) and I have some new fresh ideas. I will share that new idea and progress during summer as it is happening right now. Title: Re: 2733 cc TIV with EP heads Post by: Frallan on May 30, 2010, 19:19:59 pm Just one afterthought and clarification.
If anyone is willing to buy the engine complete, just as my norwegian buyer, and has cash without delay, I will reconsider selling it right away. The engine is now boxed up and apart from what is listed above I have included both a set of air filters and the double inlet airboxes visible in one of the pictures. One more small detail, the bottom sparkplug holes have custom made steel plugs in stead of just having sparkplugs thast are not in use.
