Calabrese of course reset the Pro Mod record (8.25 at 177 miles per hour, I think?). Kris Lauffer broke in the final found, but he had a hell of a day. It's a good time to be following VW drag racing. :-)

I have never seen soo many swapers. Over a 1/4 mile long and 3 rows worth. We were an 1/8 of a mile from the end of the race track. Did not get any pictures, too buisy swaping.
