Full details on request, motor spec is available in Volksworld Mag June 2010 "lil 'Thumper. Now avaialble with NOS Italian 48 IDA's (Boxed). Other than the carbs this motor is unaltered from this feature. Been sat on my workbench since I bought it back in Feb this year. In brief: Built by Ian Clarke, Wolsburg Performance Services. Based around what was the original motor from the Blue Obsession Racecar. Wleded counterweight 69mm VW crank, Wedgemated 8.5lb flywheel, 5.4 Carillo rods, Mahle 90.5mm barrels and pistons, CB lightweight wrist pins and Total Seal second rings. Engle FK87 cam with Magnum straight-cut gears. VW 043 heads ported by Jeff Denham. Berg ratio rockers 1.54:1. Compression 11.7.1. Magneto ignition. Phoenix 1 5/8 stainless steel header. Full flow oil, Berg relief cover. Turn key motor.
