It was also the morning after we celebrated a surprise birthday party for our founding member, Mark Ramirez. I was probably about 19 and he must have been about 15. He used bug me about what I was doing and how he wanted to build his own Cal Look car. I put up with him 'cause he would hand me wrenches when I was under the car and he was an extra set of hands when I needed them. I didn't know at the time that the gremmie would become a life long friend. His name?? Greg Brinton. I've known Greg longer than any of the Deeks. Why am I bringing it up? The bike that Carlos is riding is the same bike that Greg would pedal over to my parents house. A bit of Cal-Look history on 2 wheels. ;) Read the entry form, closely. What a DEEK.
