Title: Lash cap question...
Post by: bugnut68 on July 06, 2010, 22:10:14 pm
These questions come to me during the work day or else when I'm in the garage, nowhere near a computer...;D

Are lash caps for all high-lift cam engines with ratio rockers, or just those that have rockers with adjusters on the pushrod end?  Just wondering if they're necessary when one is running 911 style adjusters or swivel feet, for that matter, with conventional, original style rockers with the adjusters on the valve end.

I've never run lash caps on swivel foot engines.

Not needed.

Thanks folks, the information is appreciated.  I'm sure I've got plenty of similar questions left in me before the engine is fully built. ;D

Better to ask and learn than to assume, right?  We all know what assume stands for...lol.  I'm by no means too proud to admit my neophyte status. ;D
