hi guys!
i'm very proud of this car that we are making at nostalgia speed garage.
tidi is a very radical man and he's very sure to do this car no compromise.
he never do money and budget problems!!!!!!

i'm very glad u like sprintstars we restored. it was an hard job.

front were good...but rear ones needed some work.

we had to hammer and grind the lips. then we had to repair one air inflating intake hole with a welded patch, cause it was enlerged.
tidi, who is not an expert, leaned the job very quicckly, doing a very perfect patch, and bruno welded it. then i redrilled the righjt hole and use a ver very little filler to cover the job.
then we sanblasted them and we discovered tht they were already been, but with iron balls ( never do this, it is a shitty job.....use only little sand, iron balls destroy vsurface but first of all they get between rim andbolt plate and there is no way to take them away.)

so i have to dio some hours eliminating all iron balls i could and then sealing the valley two times putting epoxy primer in a medical needle.

then epoxy primer sprayed all round in two coats and one week of rest.
then tidi takes scotchbrite and got tehm ready to grab other coats of paint and filler.
that what he calls dirty job lol....he ruined his finger for 4 days to get them completely flat (i men deshining them)
then i sprayed them with spray filler and flatted them with 320 p sandpaper.
then they were painted inside in flat black and outside in flat silver ( NEVER LIKED GLOSS SPRINTSTARS...)
then i used tape and some newspapers to mask them and do detailing.
hard job...one afternoon a wheel!!!!

but believe me people: hard job hard satisfaction.
when i see these wheel i feel like they are exiting the empi box just now...they are just honest look: NOT TOO CANDY!!!
