Title: Early Bay -71 Post by: Todi on July 23, 2010, 08:51:40 am I must start to say that this is Alex "Jesus" fault that I have got in to these cars and no longer bugs. So thanks for that Alex >:( ;)
So this is my project for the winter. I must say the bus is better then it looks... I have no guideline yet how it will look in the spring, so if you have some good ideas please share with me. One big question I have right know is for the side door as you can see on the pic. Is this original or not. If not them have done a hell of a good work i must say! Title: Re: Early Bay -71 Post by: Jon on July 23, 2010, 08:56:57 am That's a custom job, never seen anything like that before. ;)

Title: Re: Early Bay -71 Post by: Todi on July 23, 2010, 17:01:56 pm For the moment I think I will have the car as it is, just lower it and have fun... If I will find the charge problem to the battery, perhaps I will come to SCC in it....
Title: Re: Early Bay -71 Post by: Jesus on July 27, 2010, 17:36:07 pm Nice to hear I've been persuading people ;D
I've never seen door's like that, do you know where the bus was manufactured, oddities like that tend to come from Brazil or South Africa, The people over on http://forum.earlybay.com/index.php are very friendly and knowledgeable! Title: Re: Early Bay -71 Post by: speedwell on July 27, 2010, 17:40:27 pm doors look like split bus one

It had a very cool air-conditioning unit fitted down through the center of the roof too , with 23 window samba style rear door and curverd glass and small split style windows down the sides . A king and link front beam with a mix of reduction box and IRS rear end . It looked very odd with a bay widow front end and cab doors . Wish I had some pics of it :-[ the bus was so far gone , i think he broke it , may still be there . Title: Re: Early Bay -71 Post by: Jon on August 12, 2010, 23:50:49 pm Looking forward to checking it out Todi! Have a good road trip! :)
