It's going on my youngest brother's '69 bug which I've been helping him build with a "70's" theme. It's lowered a liitle in front and has 8 spokes fairly fat tires all around. It has bumper guards, chrome taililight housings and a ton of VDO cockpit gauges too. W just picked up an EMPI fiberglass hood for it and I'm trying to talk him into some side scoops and maybe a c-stripe kit as well. We picked it up a a police impound auction a couple years ago and between craigslist, swap mmets and my castoff parts we've pretty much built the whole car. I thought about stripping and polishing the light, but the upkeep on polished aluminum parts on a DD that lives outside is a nightmare.
