Title: turbo t1 engine question!

hi I'm building a turbo t1 engine
it have a 78 mm demello crank and 94 mm cylinders
the case have 8 mm bolts,but i have read that you need case savers whit 94 cylinders?
don't know if this is true or not!
and I'm also thinking what type of connecting rods that is best!
stock whit arp bolts?or something different!sorry about my bad English

An 8mm stud case already has case savers ;)

No they dont,mine didnt have.. i should recomend casesavers to 94mm

Wouldn`t it be better to go M10 with a turbo engine ? Because of the boost ?!

I'd like to know too. I just re-read Kawell's turbo 1915cc build in an old Hot VW's and he was using 10mm bolts too.

yep its best to go whit 10 mm studs :(
or somthing stronger then this old 30 +++ yers stud i have!

realy bad my motor now,head/sylinder blowby alle the time!
