Hi. Managed a new personal best for the car this weekend. did a series of 8.77, 8, 74, 8,80 and the best time of 8.69. which was set in the eliminations. The 60ft times where down all weekend due to wheelspin, and was only 1.36. (The 60ft on the 8.71 run earlier this year was 1.25....) Best speed was on the 8.77 run at 267.6km/h /166mph Came in 3rd place at in Top Sportsman. Looking forward to SCC in just 11 days! I always wonder why the heck you drag racers have shift lights anyways: you never shift when the light comes on... :D Great vid. The wheel speed is maxed at only ~2meters after the start.. The job ahead is to finetune the launch so that the cars can yet again do the 1.25 60 feet times it had earlier. (and not 1.35`s) This will be a balance act between rpm - HP delivered - tirepressure-clutch.
