I guess I just learned something new. Title: Re: Old FK-8 Post by: neil68 on August 17, 2010, 03:58:05 am I believe the "old FK8" was the same as the Berg GB310 cam: 304 degrees (advertised), 0.380" lift at cam.
Title: Re: Old K-8 Post by: DKK Ted on August 17, 2010, 04:44:07 am I believe the "old FK8" was the same as the Berg GB310 cam: 304 degrees (advertised), 0.380" lift at cam. This is correct, but I believe I made a mistake, the original one is a K-8, the newer virsion is the FK-8 that has been around for a few years now. I have FK-8 cam. I was corrected on the other forum. ::) ;D The older version has a 304* duration (advertised).Ted Title: Re: Old K-8 Post by: Zach Gomulka on August 17, 2010, 04:45:42 am Email Engle ;)
Title: Re: Old K-8 Post by: DKK Ted on August 17, 2010, 04:53:59 am Email Engle ;) Zach, I thought about that, but having new owners, SoCal Imports, maybe disguarded all the old stuff, but ya never know. I'll call them tomorrow. Thanks Zach.Ted Title: Re: Old K-8 Post by: deano on August 17, 2010, 16:25:27 pm Ask Big Rog.... the old K-8s are (one of) his secret weapons......

Ted Title: Re: Old K-8 Post by: DKK Ted on August 19, 2010, 01:48:58 am I called Chris at Engle today and he said that it's always was the same grind. But I remember way back when, seeing the add's for the K-8 @ 304* Dur. Need to dig up my old HotVW's to see the adds. He did say what matters is what it is @ .050, which I do understand, but why 304* then, now 298*? That is a big difference. Jim, maybe you have some info on this?
