Title: fitting short axles Post by: Garrick Clark on August 29, 2010, 14:43:19 pm Hi guys I'm currently fitting some short axle tube and axles to my 1500 68 box.
The problem i'm having is when i tighten the side plate nuts down the tubes lock up and wont swing. I've got the fulcrum plates on it which came with the 1500 box and have put 2 paper gaskets on per side. Are there different thickness fulcrum plates ( early one's and late one's ) or do i need more paper gaskets. Thanks for any replies.
