They can work together perfectly well. A poor NA engine will be a poor turbo engine. I`m using a aggresive NA cam in my own turbo engine, works excellent.

I'm running one in my 1914 at 15psi.

The cheater cam is great imo.

I was thinking something like an fk 8 to keep the rpms down because i have a quite heavy valvetrain.. ???

What rockers? The 2289 is easier on the valve train.

Peter,

The goal is to have as little spring pressure as possible without floating the valves. You will free HP and generate less heat with less spring pressure.  K800`s and such are a primitive, stone age approach (but it works).

Do you mean my setup would be OK or not,
or do you mean that i have to lighten my valvetrain and use lighter springs.
What cam/heads are you using?
