Title: Finally...working on finishing the rear of my Chop Top for the fall season!
Post by: rick m on September 07, 2010, 02:36:37 am
Had to park the project for the summer due to business issues.  Back on track now.  Here is a shot of today's progress and metal finishing the deck lid.  I am getting it ready for primer.  Did not do the traditional EMPI style.  Could have but I wanted something different.

Yeah....have not played with any real metal work for years.  Just getting back into the swing of things.  Used metal from an old VW roof section and my small english wheel to make the eyebrows.  Will look nice once in primer.  Should have done in about a week.

I need to do some hammer and dolly work to the rear apron and a little shrinking, then finish the rear deflector panel behind the apron. It is coming to gether.
