any way of telling if you have a genuine one?

i have one which is red! instead of black (probably been painted?)
and all the chrome has dulled....

original gtv badges are made of aluminum and are very light. ;)

All of my original ones are cast pot metal.

I have both of them
ONE of my original is very light like said johhny
but the other are cast metal
may be an early and later style
who know something ??

I have some literature in one or two of my catalogues that mentions the aluminum ones with the Imp kits.
