First get decklid centered on car, Or the two body lines centered the best you can. Then there are two adjustments, One with the hardware slideing henges in and out and then two that slide up and down at a angle. And I take a philps screwdriver and slide into round holes or round channel on henge and bend henge if needed, You will do this a couple times. Just be patientit will come around. Grab henge and screwdriver and tweek at same time. One other thing, If its a different lid off another car, Make sure it is not flat from somebody doing something to if off the car, What I mean is the cowl vent section on body is the same shape as decklid, Most of the time there right. I hope that helps! It kind of hard to show you on the keyboard.

Danny.... ..Thank you so much ...!...I was lookin for your advice ...!it's a 67 and the deck lid is a little bent on one corner from something  previously before me ..so I plan to get a straight one ..The one now will aligned ,But I need more adjustment in and out  so the screwdiver trick will help..the up and down will work better after a tweek or two..!......Thanks again..!!!!
