Im Looking for a Norwegian looking for a job in Stavanger in the Oil Industry, I run an offshore NDT Inspection Company and we are hoping to set up in Stavanger in the next 3 months, would prefer someone with experance in the offshore service industry and the added VW passion would be nice ?

It`s interesting reading your post. I`m from Stavanger but moved six years ago. I do have some friends working in the offshore service industry and the least I can do is to is to ask around. I do know that there is a huge demand for engineers in the Stavanger area.

My offshore experance is not great but back in time I`did some building work on Troll, Draugen, Sleipner 1 and 2. Oh, and I almost forgot the 2 years I was selling fittings. Not at all NDT inspection oriented....but on the other hand I have a huge passion for VW`s  :)

It seemed worth a try, Im not looking for someone that knows what we do we will train them but we are looking for a company rep to visit clients etc.
