Title: WANTED - Early Karmann Ghia engine bay panel/ valance?? Post by: Paul Reveres Ghia on October 15, 2010, 12:24:54 pm No going back now- :oops: I've cut the old panel out as it was wrecked but now I am struggling to find a decent replacement- The re-pop's appear to all be late ones!!

I am able to re-use the valance if necessary but could also be tempted if you have a valance- engine bay panel in decent nick- Please PM if you have anything???? Have you got any pics?? ;) Not that I can find - think they're on my other PC. Basically I cut it in exactly the same place as you have, then welded two dzus tabs onto the side panels, and put the fasteners themselves into the rear panel, all on the horizontal bit.
