Title: Feedback Forum
Post by: Dave Rosique on October 22, 2010, 23:15:32 pm
Greetings,

Anybody ever thought about a feedback forum here on the Lounge? Sort of like eBay. When buying or selling items here on the Lounge,  we would have a chance to express the results of the sale.. you know, "item arrived as described", "lightning quick shipping", "super fast pay", "I' was screwed but I liked it" etc, etc.

We wouldn't need any stars, numbers or ratings, just a place to write it down.

It would never be my intention to cause any bad blood here.. just something I've been thinking for a while.

If you feel it's a bad or useless idea, I'm cool with that too.

Thoughts?

I like this idea. One of the other automotive forums (established in 2000) that I belong to features that and it's quite helpful. And the moderators make sure that the forum doesn't get abused and only allows posts pertaining to the structure of the site.

We have talked about this before and we are all against the idea. So itīs not something we want to do here on The Lounge. Sorry...

Yeah, I get it Trond.. probably better off.

FYI, the following is copy / paste from the motorcycle forum I belong to:

This section is for buyers and sellers of the classified section. Providing feedback on a buyer or seller can help others in their purchases. Please be careful when purchasing anything online. This website does not guarantee transactions, so be careful. If you have a bad experience you can report it here. Try to use PayPal
for purchases, they will help guarantee purchases.

After skimming through the 40 or so responses they seem to be 100% positive.. nice to know.. I'm sure it would be the same here anyway.

Thanks..

Many who sell stuff here also post it on the Samba. You could look there for feedback.
